Miller James, founding member and songwriter of Phoenix-based Bad Lucy, has returned with a renewed focus on his solo project. Known for his melodic voice and earnest lyrics, Miller’s first solo release in 2009, The Eventually EP, cemented his presence in the Phoenix music scene.  He went on to share the stage with Andy Grammer, Griffin House, Lifehouse, Brendan James, Gregory Alan Isakov, Tony Lucca, Tyler Ward, David Ryan Harris and many more.

Miller has also received national recognition for his song “Forward,” which was featured on NBC’s live broadcast of the Macy’s Parade in 2011 – 2013. Java Magazine’s Mitchell Hillman writes about Miller’s music “It’s clear that lead singer and songwriter Miller wears the influences of Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley and Ryan Adams on his sleeve and has the talent and vision to back it up.”
